According to The Black Hole Storybook there was supposed to be a scene right after the destruction of the Palomino, while the asteroid were crashing into the Cygnus involving Dan, Charlie & Kate trying to cross a catwalk. It looked unstable so Kate rode Bob across, Charlie rode Vincent across & Dan tried to walk across. Halfway over the catwalk collapsed & Bob & Vincent had to rescue Dan. After this they cut through the Agricultural station where they are attacked by the Sentry Robots.
In the movie and video releases, this scene, which was shot, was removed.
